The influence of a compact gravitating object on the parameters of gravitational waves coupled with plane electromagnetic waves
Sizov V. A., Fomin I. V.
The propagation of coupled electromagnetic and gravitational waves is considered based on the solution of Einstein’s perturbed equations in spaces with Minkowski and Schwarzschild metrics. A description of the main properties of gravitational waves coupled with plane electromagnetic waves is proposed. An estimate of the influence of the gravitational field of compact astrophysical objects on the characteristics of coupled gravitational waves is obtained.
